Northern Ireland SEAG Entrance Assessment mock practice
Three original English and Mathematics mocks follow the published Schools' Entrance Assessment Group main-test mix for Northern Ireland. They are not official SEAG papers.
What the published format says
SEAG says pupils sit two papers of the same format, on Saturday 14 November 2026 and Saturday 21 November 2026. Both assess English (or Gaeilge) and Mathematics, based on the Northern Ireland Key Stage 2 curriculum. The practice section is not timed and does not count. The main test is 60 minutes for 56 questions, each worth 1 mark. Pupils may start with either subject.
English questions in the main test are a punctuation exercise, a grammar exercise, a spelling exercise and a comprehension. Some comprehension questions are multiple choice and some are short free response. Mathematics is mostly multiple choice, with short free-response questions at the end. Each multiple-choice question has 5 answers.
How Homework Magic practises it
Each SEAG mock is a 60-minute original multiple-choice paper with English and Mathematics questions. It is shorter than the 56-question main test. It does not include the untimed practice section, a Gaeilge paper, or the free-response questions. SEAG publishes two assessment papers. Mock 3 is extra original practice in the same format, not a third official paper.
Important: These questions are original independent practice. They are not official SEAG papers.
