What is KS4?
Key Stage 4 is the GCSE years in England and normally covers Years 10 and 11. It follows KS3 and is organised around GCSE subject content rather than a single National Curriculum programme of study for each subject.
Good to know: English Language and English Literature are separate GCSEs. Science may be Combined Science or separate Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Homework Magic keeps those choices distinct so pupils practise the right course.
GCSE subjects available
- Maths: algebra, ratio, geometry, probability and statistics at GCSE level.
- English Language: fiction and non-fiction reading, creative and transactional writing.
- English Literature: Shakespeare, the 19th-century novel, poetry and unseen poetry.
- Biology, Chemistry and Physics: separate GCSE science topics. Combined Science pupils should check which sections apply to their own specification.
How it works
- Choose Year 10 or Year 11.
