What does an AI 11+ tutor help with?
Homework Magic combines free 11+ practice with optional Max subscription support, including 11+ Magic Coach conversations, Topic Mastery and a year-round plan. Each child can practise Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Questions are checked and mistakes can guide future work. AI explanations are helpful for understanding a method, but can make mistakes.

Maths
Arithmetic, word problems, fractions and multi-step reasoning. Explain the method before repeating a similar question.
English
Reading comprehension, vocabulary and grammar. Check the evidence in a passage, not just the chosen option.
Verbal Reasoning
Codes, patterns, word relationships and sequences. Talk through why a rule fits every part.
Non-Verbal Reasoning
Shape patterns, rotations and spatial reasoning. Show diagrams and check the rule rather than guessing.
A realistic 15-minute practice routine
- Choose one topic and answer a few questions independently.
- Review one mistake with the correctness section and the correct answer.
- Use Explain Why where entitled: How to solve it, Why children get this wrong and a Helpful tip.
- Try another question using the same idea, then stop or return tomorrow.
The actual recommended duration depends on year group and the child's energy. Short regular practice is often easier to maintain than a long session.

Which 11+ exam format should you prepare for?
The 11+ is not one national exam. Local authorities and selective schools set different tests and admissions criteria.
