Homework Magic

Homework Magic for schools

One connected homework ecosystem for school, teacher, student and parent

Homework Magic connects the people around a child in one school-to-home workflow. School Admins see the wider picture, teachers manage classes and homework, pupils complete work and practise, and parents can follow progress at home. The aim is simple: reduce repeated admin and make the next useful action easier to see.

How the school-home circle works

School

School Admins can see teachers, classes, pupils, homework completion, school insights and settings from one school-level view.

Teacher

Teachers create classes, assign or reuse homework, differentiate work and review class or pupil progress.

Student

Pupils see due homework, complete practice, revisit mistakes and build a learning record from checked work.

Parent

Parents can follow their child's progress, see areas that need practice and use printable weekly homework at home.

The loop closes when completed work updates progress. Teachers and School Admins can use that information to see where support is needed, while parents and pupils have a clearer view of what to practise next.

School Admin: a school-level view without another spreadsheet

Manage the school structure

Review teachers, classes and pupils; assign School Admin responsibility; archive or move records when the school structure changes.

See homework and learning signals

Review completion trends, year-group and subject patterns, class average scores, strengths and areas that may need more practice.

Keep control at school level

Use school settings, AI policy controls and an audit log for School Admin actions. The private School Admin dashboard stays behind sign-in.

Drill down instead of exporting

Move from a school-level indicator to year group, class, subject or pupil detail inside the same workflow when more context is needed.

Teacher workflow: create once, reuse, assign and review

1. Create or join the school

Create a class under an existing school or create the school when it is new to Homework Magic. The first teacher who starts an unowned school becomes its School Admin.

2. Add pupils and assign work

Use class onboarding, add pupils, choose work from the library, reuse saved homework, paste questions or upload a worksheet.

3. Review what happened

See completion, scores, mistakes and learning indicators, then assign different practice where pupils need different support.

Designed to reduce repeated admin

Homework Magic is designed so the same class, assignment and progress information can support several people instead of being re-entered in separate places. A teacher sets the work once; the pupil completes it; checked results update learning data; parents can follow progress; and School Admins can view school-level patterns.

It is a homework and learning platform, not a replacement for a school's MIS, safeguarding system or statutory record keeping.

Questions schools ask

Who can use School Admin?

A teacher with School Admin permission can open the School Admin dashboard. The teacher who creates a new school, or the first class for an existing unowned school, can become the first School Admin and can assign the role to another teacher.

Can ordinary teachers see School Admin?

No. The School Admin menu is shown only to teachers who hold School Admin permission for that school.

Can teachers give different homework to different pupils?

Yes. Teachers can target homework to chosen pupils, which supports differentiated classwork and SEND-friendly workflows.

How do parents fit into the workflow?

Parents can follow linked-child progress and support practice at home, including printable weekly homework, without taking over the teacher's class workflow.

Start with one class, then expand when it is useful

A school can start small with one teacher and one class. If the workflow helps, School Admin provides the wider school view without changing how pupils and parents already use Homework Magic.
