Homework Magic

Study coach for daily practice

The study coach picks one next step for daily practice so a child is not choosing from a long list. The same recommendation is what the pupil and the parent see.

The order daily practice uses

  1. Teacher needs practice. If a teacher assigned a subject, or a subject topic, that is the daily practice.
  2. Scores. If the teacher has not assigned needs practice, the coach uses a subject the recent scores show needs practice.
  3. Parent target subjects. A parent can set target subjects for each child. Those subjects are used only when nothing needs practice.

Questions about the study coach

What does the study coach practise first?

Teacher needs practice comes first. That can be a subject or a subject topic the teacher assigned. If the teacher has not assigned one, daily practice uses a subject the scores show needs practice.

When do parent target subjects get used?

Only when nothing needs practice. A parent can set target subjects for each child, and those subjects fill daily practice in that case.

Where do the pupil and parent see it?

Recommended practice shows for the pupil and on the parent learning report. The study coach uses the same choice.
